We are a family-run locksmith working out of Albany Creek. That is the middle of our patch, and everything below is within comfortable reach of it. Call the number and you get the locksmith who will do the job, not a call centre booking it out to someone else.
Whichever suburb you are in, the work falls into the same three buckets. The difference between areas is usually which one you need.
Lockouts, snapped keys, break-in repairs and doors that will not secure. Our emergency response is focused on North Brisbane and Moreton Bay so we can actually get to you. See emergency locksmith services.
Rekeying, lock changes, deadbolts, sliding doors, window locks and smart locks. See residential locksmith services, or the premium hardware range for upgrades.
Shopfronts, restricted key systems, master keying, door closers and access hardware for offices, retail and industrial premises. See commercial locksmith services.
Booked work such as rekeying, lock installation, smart locks, commercial hardware and site-wide master key systems is also available in selected suburbs across Greater Brisbane by appointment. If you are outside the list below, give us a call and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Grouped the way we actually drive them, closest to base first. Suburbs with a link have a page of their own with more local detail.
This is where we are based, so it is the area we know best and reach quickest. Housing here runs from 1980s and 90s brick-and-tile through to the larger acreage blocks out towards Cashmere, Warner and Joyner, where a property often has a house, a shed and a gate all on different keys.
South of the creek the suburbs are older and denser, and the work shifts with them. Chermside in particular is now as much units, retail tenancies and body corporate common areas as it is houses, while the streets behind Gympie Road are still original post-war homes needing ordinary residential work.
Strathpine is the practical centre of Pine Rivers, with a large rental market and housing old enough that original hardware is well past its intended life. Brendale sits immediately north, so commercial and warehouse callouts run alongside the residential work.
The corridor either side of the highway is mostly master-planned estates built from the 2000s onward. The locks are rarely worn out here; more often they are the entry-level sets the builder fitted, on homes where owners want smart locks and something more substantial on the front door.
The peninsula is the one part of our patch where the environment dictates the hardware. Salt air seizes cylinders and pits standard finishes, so the honest answer near the water is often coastal-rated hardware rather than the cheapest lock that fits the hole.
Further north the estates give way to larger blocks, sheds and the Narangba industrial estate. Properties out here tend to have more doors that matter than a suburban house does, which is where a small master key system earns its keep.
One quick call settles it. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
